Identify the real need and increase productivity

I have been working in a Leading Software company call Duo Software working as a Software Architect. I have spent my whole time solving problems using software and human process issues. This was my work at the company regardless what position I am in. When reaching to a common goal as a team whether it is a software engineer or the company CEO the most difficult part  for everybody was to finding the real need(requirement). When we try to look through our own view points we lose what is the actual requirement of a customer or your co-worker. Because of this lots of conflicts can occur in your work place. To rectify the conflicts we must identify the real cause of issue in order to give a proper solution if not this would  make the problem worse at your work place.

In order to do that we must not think only from our point of view of the issue rather look through the view point the person raises the issue. This will help you to see the complete picture by letting you see the viewpoints of others, the real nature of the problem, the cause of the problem and what solutions we can provide. Then you will realize that some issues arise for personal gains while some can  be to benefited a community of people.

Main thing you need also to understand is that human emotions play an important role for the cause of the problem. These emotions can lead to one's  personal gains which can directly influence organizational politics and other similar unethical behaviors in the company. These kinds of situations are more common in an ungodly community because of the morality factor is not present in the individuals therefore they use immoral ways gain what they desires. This can be seen how they work; they try not to be visible how they conduct their work to present there problem. Only solution for this problem is to be visible of all the work and to collaborate with a 3rd party to keep track of the effort to solve the issue. Sometimes if the cause of a problem is based on lie the problem can continue until the entity tries to win his personal agenda. The outcome of such a problem would impact the whole organization by reducing the productivity and also people would show bitterness towards their work. And also it can make you emotionally unhealthy if you let the problem play with your emotions. The best solution for this if some work is being dragged too long and it negatively affects your team (i.e. by bringing a bad reputation) and your motivation goes down to solve the issue, ultimately you would call it quit; put it to stop and engage in some new work that is productive and inspires you. If not it can lead to degrading your productivity and  will make yourself bitter to do engage in similar other work as well. 

Remember whatever the work you do you specially need to identify whether its productive or not. If its unproductive and does not generate good results its more wise to stop it. If an entity doesn't like visibility collaboration and always keeps on misleading by lying changing subjects that means you yourself wont be able to identify the cause of the problem and find the solution for it. If situations like these occupy your work more that 30% that means you spend too much time on unproductive work.Therefore effort has put into overcome this situations because this would impact your career growth and your life. So try your best to avoid clashing with such issues after giving three or four tries. If it wont help you should call it quits and focus on the things that really matters than dealing with unproductive work.

In some companies time spent on most of the work is useless and unproductive therefore it makes no sense for an employee to put effort to deal with such situations when his career growth is taken into consideration. The outcomes of such situations would  break the bank of the companies and also will make the employees unproductive. As a result the workplace would be filled with more more unnecessary issues and more office-politics. In such an environment finding a true solution for an issue is like finding a needle in a haystack.

This is the same thing I was struggling with for 10 years in software industry I wasted 50% of my work dealing with unproductive issues. Ultimately this affected our customers, the company and the loyal employees of the company. I was also like other people even though I was a Christian I was not truly a Christian I also lied and used my emotions to control my work due to this I had to put more work and also I had to work late hours too because I didnt know how to deal with most of the problems.

Until I found GOD and the moral code I didn't truly find the real and permanent solution for all my problems. First step of the solution was to give up all the sinful emotions that humans have been controlled which are Lust, Pride, Anger, Jealousy and Greed. This allowed me to see others in a different way and to see them as how a parent sees their children. This greatly help me to understand the context of any problem and deal with any situation. It also matured my thoughts me to become a firm leader. Next step was to conquer fear and to see others regardless of their position or social status and treat everyone as equal. This lead me to greater understanding of people and who to work with and who to keep away from. This also helped me to become independent and to start the work of molding and making teams striping away of these unethical worldly views and to implant moral code to people. More than becoming a leader I tried to be a friend and a guardian helping everyone to face ups and downs in their career and to strictly deal with their issues.

If you are a parent you know whether your child is lying or not, same way God helped me to know what real intention of a person and what that person really needs when he does something. This allowed me to apply the correct solution for that problem increasing my productivity and also reducing unnecessary work and to focus on the real problems to give the solution out. Due to this I had less work at office solving problems and more work to implement processors that actually help the team productivity.

Next step was to making the work we did visible to all and also to contribute and to improve which we have done make them a part of the product. By doing that the other teams had clarity of the work so they didn't have to come to us all the time for they had resources to do there job independently. No more repeating the same thing because everything is documented others to follow this made less work and helped more to focus on things that matters.

When competition is taken into consideration such as competing with each other inside organization, If someone is doing something individually competing with others instead of collaborating, contribute to them so that we stop duplicating work.  Most of this competition is encouraged by companies which made a way to duplicate work and produce unstable incomplete work. Our education system is also aligned in a way that introduces competition,  such as rating and grading and also will also introduce unethical ways of winning the competition by cheating, lying and fooling. End of the day most of the companies end up with a useless product with less productive work. This should be eliminated and should encourage people Collaborate and contribute for one goal.

There are many ways but the best way is first strip off immoral politics  managerial and other unethical ways and implement morality inside the organization with your team members. This approach will greatly improve efficiency and productivity. If people live with these cheap emotions there life growth will also effect you life will be consumed by it and will keep in work 24x7 and in return you will gain stress and bitterness.


If the home is deserving, let your peace rest on it; if it is not, let your peace return to you.If anyone will not welcome you or listen to your words, leave that home or town and shake the dust off your feet.
