Not Getting Recognized For Your Work?

As i'm working for a software product company and i was working under different leaderships for the past 10 years. This gave me great insight to how to become a better leader by seeing the Strengths and weakness and being one such a leader in a software company leading them directly and indirectly to achieve there product to a next level. It took my company 9 years to be recognize me and to show the talent was hidden. You might be thinking why it took that much of years to recognized the potential to find the hidden Gold. This what every company face because of the poor management leadership skills and strategies that runs on politics. This is the down fall of all software industries in Sri Lanka. Every employee comes to work for the first time with uncorrupted mind to be programmed for innovation and to be smart workers but as our current companies management and leaderships corrupt it with traditional thinking. When i look at companies like Google, facebook they bring in more innovation and why are they successful being simple and why are they growing ? As i'm asking this question who ever reading this will think these are not product or project base development companies  and we don't have the money to wast like them. Ok lets get to the point they are big because of the way the changed there leadership and management style also they are smart workers. A leader might lead through official authority and power, but just as often great leaders lead through inspiration, persuasion and personal connections. This why big companies are more rich with talent than the software companies in Sri Lanka the leadership and the management style should change by taking off threats and reward system built in our system get them to work.

More than a threat or a reword people like to see inspiration and helping them to work where he\she is free and his individual thinking and driven by passion.
