Why people stop growing when they are not rewarded

Most of us give to get a reward/return. And when we give there is no reward/return we harm our self by thinking its our problem we are not good and that we have just been used. Its actually not our problem, only thing is to do is not to think about the reward but focus on moving your self forward by giving abundantly and raise your self to a place you can give more. Never try to linger and wait for the return because it will drag you down and restrain you from growing;  sometimes the best way is to let go, it will help us to feel good about our selves and move forward in life, in conclusion do deliver but dont do so expecting a return, instead expect only to give more. Being selfless is the ultimate form of being a complete being. This was taken from the teaching of the Bible.

Don't forget to share this  if you agree :)

Proverbs 11:24-25
One gives freely, yet grows all the richer; another withholds what he should give, and only suffers want. Whoever brings blessing will be enriched, and one who waters will himself be watered.

Proverbs 13:7
 "One pretends to be rich, yet has nothing; another pretends to be poor, yet has great wealth."

Luke 6:38
give, and it will be given to you. Good measure, pressed down, shaken together, running over, will be put into your lap. For with the measure you use it will be measured back to you

  2. Here is something supporting the above cause... so if we do as what Psalms 112 say, we truly don't have to worry about the getting back part... good point bro. really helped me in an area where i just started worrying a bit. :)

    Psalm 112
    English Standard Version (ESV)

    "112 [a] Praise the Lord!
    Blessed is the man who fears the Lord,
    who greatly delights in his commandments!
    2 His offspring will be mighty in the land;
    the generation of the upright will be blessed.
    3 Wealth and riches are in his house,
    and his righteousness endures forever.
    4 Light dawns in the darkness for the upright;
    he is gracious, merciful, and righteous.
    5 It is well with the man who deals generously and lends;
    who conducts his affairs with justice.
    6 For the righteous will never be moved;
    he will be remembered forever.
    7 He is not afraid of bad news;
    his heart is firm, trusting in the Lord.
    8 His heart is steady; he will not be afraid,
    until he looks in triumph on his adversaries.
    9 He has distributed freely; he has given to the poor;
    his righteousness endures forever;
    his horn is exalted in honor.
    10 The wicked man sees it and is angry;
    he gnashes his teeth and melts away;
    the desire of the wicked will perish!"
