EMSO territory Management System Study.

y Boss handed me with a new project call "EMSO territory Management System". This project was handled by a senior developer call Roshi she was handling project and gathering requirements because she is leaving to another company i had to take over the project. She gave me a brief introduction about the business and what we should do. And we had a system study @ EMSO private limited its a medical equipment suppling company with our senior software engineer Kanchana, me and Mr.Thayaparan about the project and how the development will be handled . This was my first system study at a clients place & in a big meeting room :) .

What really the client needed.
  1. Paper less work environment .
  2. Knowing how each sales person performing and contributing to the company.
  3. managing and budgeting sales petty cash.
  4. Tracking Sales monthly and calculating commissions based on it.
  5. Calculating overall sales.
  6. territory wise sales summery and more.
Development was Agreed on.

Training before Development

I looked at Quick Book System to get the look and feeling how a good system should look like. what functionalities that the users will be needing. This system was used in many business because it a system that any user can use and functioning in any type of a business process. And i went through the inventory and the petty cash module just to get the idea what should we capture and the functionality.

User Interface (Images will not be shown because it is copyrighted)

  • Loading a Grid viewer lookup kind of a thing first when they access master files or transaction modules showing the entered data on a grid and on top you have new button lookup features.
  • When double click a Grid item loading the data entry form with the current selected values.
  • Using Main Form with a tool bar with shortcuts to mainly used forms.
  • Adding logo on the right with a animation.
Business process was developed on a class structure so we can reuse the functionalities.

Why people stop growing when they are not rewarded

Most of us give to get a reward/return. And when we give there is no reward/return we harm our self by thinking its our problem we are not good and that we have just been used. Its actually not our problem, only thing is to do is not to think about the reward but focus on moving your self forward by giving abundantly and raise your self to a place you can give more. Never try to linger and wait for the return because it will drag you down and restrain you from growing;  sometimes the best way is to let go, it will help us to feel good about our selves and move forward in life, in conclusion do deliver but dont do so expecting a return, instead expect only to give more. Identify the best people to work and improve creativity and productivity

In the current managerial structure it is a rat race. Everyone is competing with each other. This makes more people who cheat there way to the top and makes your place of work that dose not do much of productive work and that lacks creativity. This what most of the software industries face no creative out come after its built up. You can clearly see that example when we look at big corporation the products which they supply.
